One of the best features of Windows Media Player Plus! is the File Menu. You can right-click a file and perform certain actions. Unlike the default player, this app allows you to rewind a few seconds. You can also rewind your music by going to the File menu and choosing "Rewind." This feature is extremely handy for when you're at the end of a song and don't want to start again.
Getting Started with Windows Media Player Plus! is as simple as downloading and installing the app. After installing the program, you'll see a properties menu. Simply go to this menu to select the option you want to change. Then, choose 'Restore'. This feature will restore your media files upon boot. If you've already installed the app, you can close it to return to it later. When you're finished, you'll be prompted with a UI with various options.
The advanced tab contains all of the information you can edit. These include values that are usually not edited by users. For example, tags that are marked with a pencil can't be changed. You can only change the play count, and you can't modify the SourceURL and TrackingID. On the positive side, you can add Now Playing information to your taskbar, Skype status, and other places where you need to view the player's icon. Using the title bar, you can easily access it.
